Our Founder

Lorre Zuppan [photo]

Lorre Zuppan was inspired to found branes after seeing brilliant executives and managers stymied by lack of time to track down, understand, and implement the skills and tools necessary to simplify and successfully manage complex challenges. Having both hired management consultants and worked as one, Lorre understood the challenges of each. She has used that insight to create a firm that is truly unique. As a seasoned business executive with management experience in Fortune 100 companies, including IBM, Wells Fargo, Charles Schwab and Alexander and Baldwin, Lorre has the proven capability to help executives quickly understand and implement the tools and techniques they need. She also understands the special challenges of smaller businesses, with experience as a management consultant for venture capital funded startups and a wide range of rapidly growing and mature mid- to large-sized businesses. Lorre provides a unique blend of financial, marketing and operational expertise, and operates effectively from “both sides of the brain.” She thrives on bringing groups to their next level of performance, and has a track record of bringing innovation and success out of organizations where many had given up hope.

Lorre was awarded her CPA in 1987 after graduating magna cum laude from California State Universtiy at Hayward. She found that she enjoyed working with and leading highly successful teams of all types in banking, financial services, real estate, technology, transportation, design, and a variety of other industries in the public and private sectors. Her ability to simplify complex and intimidating subjects enables her to publish valuable articles and earn rave reviews for seminars and speaking engagements on business strategy, management, and effective use of tools. As an Executive Member of the the Alameda Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Alameda Economic Development Commission member, board member for Alameda Rotary, and active membership in the American Marketing Association, Institute of Management Consultants, Strategic Management Society, and other community-oriented boards and initiatives, Lorre appreciates the opportunity to nuture her own growth through giving back.
